A Global Marketing & Business Development Consultancy, specializing in new business development amongst blue chip companies, was looking to penetrate new market sectors and generate new business opportunities.

The brief contained several elements; starting with the market research phase to understand what new potential existed; to the evaluation phase analysing this newly gained information; through to the strategic targeting of agreed key targets.

This project involved several elements of the marketing toolkit – in particular online research, social media marketing and telemarketing tactics.  Linked in and Twitter were predominant tools in understanding market segments & current issues therein and assisted in the identification of key players in those segments.

Using our in-depth understanding of these tools and how best to obtain relevant information from them, were we able to engage in intelligent telemarketing activities to pass numerous gatekeepers and make direct contact with key players.  Through the online research we were able to attract these key players by delivering relevant and short topics.

This resulted in numerous qualified meetings, placing the account directors directly in front of key targets, with the right information to hand enabling them to deliver a relevant pitch, secure new business and significantly increase their pipeline going forward.
